Back at school. Holidays are over.

But I'm not sad. Not one little bit.

Starting new. Starting fresh. A whole new term.

Our IB 'journey' is over-referred to in an irritatingly corny way by our teachers. I'm not sure how I'll be different by the end of it all. I hope I'll be smarter. I hope my friends stick by me. I hope rather a lot.

I'm worried that I'll go backwards. I'm scared of failing. I don't want to have regrets. I don't want to look back and feel disappointed.

The one thing I'm sure of is that I'll change. Maybe for better, maybe for worse. But hopefully for the better :).

hey I'm verity. Sorry this blog won't be updated that much! I'm a little lazy like that. Hmm, about me eh? Well, I like cats, Harry Potter, being nerdy but I dislike germs, seedy pick-up lines. I'm very good at tetris. I am terrible at music. I can speak Japanese, English and un petit peu French. I want to live and study in Europe someday. I admire JK Rowling, Stephen Hawking but most of all my wonderful friends. I have a cat named Rupert with orange tabby stripes. I can't sing to save my life, but do anyway. I'm good at making an otherwise normal conversation seem awkward. I hope you have a great day! x
